About GPC Workforce
Welcome to the GP Connections Workforce Website.
We are the Toowoomba & District Division of General Practice but our business name is GP Connections.
Here at GP Connections we see it as our role to assist General Practice in rural and remote areas. We are funded by the Department of Health and Ageing to provide support to those GPs practicing in rural areas.
This support includes training, education, mentoring and professional development to those newly arrived and existing general practitioners.
The purpose of this website is to allow you the opportunity to learn a little about Toowoomba's surrounding areas. If you are contemplating moving to this area, you want to know a bit about it; what it can do for you and what it will mean for you and your family.
It is important for you to know that you will have a local Division of General Practice who will support you whether you are from Australia or newly arrived from overseas.
